Checking all politics at the door and what not this is an amazing movie. Very intense. Very well done and acted. Very difficult to watch at times. I will never be watching this movie again because of the subject matter but it was an excellent movie. Alot of stuff around the movie can be massively misconstrued and twisted and I hate that the world has gotten to this point where seeing a movie means you are one side or the other. As long as you can just shut that out and watch this movie it is an incredible watch.
I would definitely recommend people checking this movie out. It's not an easy watch and you need to get through all the political talk about it and just enjoy a well made movie.

The Machine
The past comes back to haunt Bert Kreischer when a murderous mobster tries to kidnap him to atone for his crimes. With help from his estranged father, Bert must retrace the steps of his younger self as a sociopathic crime family goes to war.
This movie is exactly what you would think it was from the trailer. A silly and pointless action comedy based off of Bert Kreischer's comedy material. It is immediately forgettable after watching it. Honestly it's forgettable while watching it.
I would not recommend that anyone bother with this. It's basically a waste of time and just served as background noise while I did other stuff.
The Flash
Worlds collide when the Flash uses his superpowers to travel back in time to change the events of the past. However, when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, he becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation. They're not getting much support from their father, Will, a therapist who's dealing with his own intense pain. Hypnotic

Aided by Diana Cruz, a gifted psychic, Rourke simultaneously pursues and is pursued by a lethal specter, the one man he believes holds the key to finding the girl.
I was shocked at how good this movie started. I thought for sure all the critics must have been too harsh on this. The opening segment was a pretty cool 10 minutes or so. Unfortunately this movie completely spiraled into a lame made for tv movie that was way beneath the talent that was in it.
I would not recommend anyone bothering with this. It really is a big waste of time outside of the promising start.
The Little Mermaid
The youngest of King Triton's daughters, Ariel is a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. Book Club: The Next Chapter
Four best friends take their book club to Italy for the fun girls trip they never had. When things go off the rails and secrets are revealed, their relaxing vacation turns into a once-in-a-lifetime cross-country adventure.
This movie is exactly what it looked like. Very formula in every way but not the worst thing you will ever see. And credit where its due, I do like seeing movies like this keeping actors and actresses that have "aged out" of the standard Hollywood roles still remaining relevant for target audiences that are obviously still there.
I would not straight up recommend anyone going out of their way to see this but if you are a fan of any of the cast the movie is entertaining even though it is very similar to other movies for the target audience that have come out the last few years.

Still reeling from the loss of Gamora, Peter Quill must rally his team to defend the universe and protect one of their own. If the mission is not completely successful, it could possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.
The Covenant
During the war in Afghanistan, a local interpreter risks his own life to carry an injured sergeant across miles of gruelling terrain.
This was a really good movie. You felt the entire journey and the desperation to do the right thing after the fact at all costs. The filming style and the grittiness of it really made it a very enjoyable watch. Jake Gylenthaal was surprisingly believable in the role.
I would definitely recommend people checking this movie out. It a surprisingly very enjoyable watch.
Sweetwater
Nathaniel "Sweetwater" Clifton, star attraction of the Harlem Globetrotters, changes the game of basketball when he becomes the first African American player to sign a contract with the NBA in the fall of 1950.
This was a good biographical watch. It was very formula and made out to be much more heartwarming then I'm sure the actually stuff was remotely. Even with that thought it was a good watch and sports movie.
I would sort of recommend people checking this out. It's not a must see by any means but it is a decent sports movie watch about history being made.

Beau Is Afraid
Beau Wasserman is the son of a famous and wealthy businesswoman, Mona. He grows up without a father, who his mother says died during an orgasm (which was also when Beau was conceived), a hereditary medical condition that she claims was passed down to Beau.
Reread that synopsis. I dare you. Reread it without mumbling the words WHAT THE FUCK. Now if you make it past that imagine that this movie is THREE HOURS LONG. I made it almost half way before pulling the plug and just kept mumbling what the fuck am I watching the whole time. I couldn't possibly imagine continuing.
I would not recommend anyone ever bothering with this. It is a massively too long waste of time. I don't even see how this could get one of those ooooh it's so well done artistic rubs. Like it was just weird as hell for the sake of being weird.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves

I am stunned at how much I enjoyed this movie. I had honestly only gone to see it because one of my nieces has had the family role play through stuff like this and it has been hilarious so of course we had to see this. And then the movie was actually a fun as hell ride. If felt a lot like a Pirates Of The Caribbean or Jungle Cruise kind of ride. You turn off your brain and just be entertained by it all.
I would shockingly recommend people checking this out. Never thought I would say that but this movie was a lot of fun.

When a vengeful trio of ancient gods arrives on Earth in search of the magic stolen from them long ago, Shazam and his allies get thrust into a battle for their superpowers, their lives, and the fate of the world.
This was one of DC's more difficult movies to watch. Not only was it a just there movie that definitely dropped off from what was a somewhat fresh original comic book movie entry. But the fact that the villain was one of the most miscast things I have ever seen in Helen Mirren and then the fact that this movie is part of a massively failed DCEU that is being disbanded just made it so beyond pointless. Like the two credit scenes literally referenced a Black Adam/Shazam crossover even though Black Adam has already been declared dead and a third Shazam movie that will never come to pass.
I would not recommend anyone really bothering with this because you are just giving DC/WB money for movies at this point that are completely pointless.

This movie is literally the trailer for it. You watch that you watch the movie. They pull some completely predictable and formula heart strings along the way but there is nothing outside of the trailer substance wise for this movie.
I wouldn't recommend anyone bothering with this. Even for the specific age demographic it was made the movie is ultimately just there.
