The Expendables

The Expendables is a hard-hitting action/thriller about a group of mercenaries hired to infiltrate a South American country and overthrow its ruthless dictator. Once the mission begins, the men realize things aren’t quite as they appear, finding themselves caught in a dangerous web of deceit and betrayal. With their mission thwarted and an innocent life in danger, the men struggle with an even tougher challenge – one that threatens to destroy this band of brothers.

This movie is exactly what you would expect it to be. Its straight up testosterone on the screen. Big guys. Big guns. Lots of explosions. Horrible dialogue. Weak a$$ story. Lots of fighting. I loved it. It was a total 80s action movie throwback. The scene with Stallone, Willis and Schwartzenneger is hysterical. The fact that they have Stone Cold Steve Austin and Randy Couture have a big fight one on one is a total shout out to the WWE/UFC fans. The best part of the movie is the chemistry between all of these action actors. You can tell that they probably had a LOT of fun making this movie and it shows throughout.

I would definitely recommend people who were interested in this movie checking it out. If you want action - this movie couldn't deliver more.
