Marmaduke, the world's most lovable Great Dane, leaps from comic strip fame to big screen stardom. In this family comedy, the "Duke" is living large in Orange County, California. But fitting in with his new four-legged friends – and a potential romantic interest -- isn't always easy for a super-sized teenage dog.This movie is exactly what you expect. Its a decent family/kids movie with some laughs, some cuteness, short running time, and talking animals. Its not completely painful to watch, but its not something that I would push for people over the age of 10 or 11 to see either. It basically plays out a lot like the first Garfield movie a couple of years back.
I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for something to take kids to. Outside of that - I have no idea why you would be entertaining the thought of seeing this.
