Jupiter Ascending

Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis star in Jupiter Ascending, an original science fiction epic adventure from filmmakers Lana and Andy Wachowski. Jupiter Jones (Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning other people's houses and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along—her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos.

Let's start with the good about this movie.  Visually, it was amazing.  The action scenes looked great.  There was also pretty good chemistry between Kunis and Tatum.  Unfortunately, that was really it.  The story was very forced and rushed even though it felt like a long ass movie.  The rest of the acting was so grossly over the top as was all costume and set design.  I know it's a sci-fi movie but it was still too much.  And then there is the worst part of it.  This movie had the most annoying score throughout.  It was way too dominating and was not reflective of the scenes at all.  It made it where walking down the street sounded like it was the grand finale.

I wouldn't recommend people wasting their time checking this out.  As great as the action looks there really is nothing else of substance in this at aall.
